Postnatal Checks
A postnatal check is an appointment focused on understanding your general mental and physical health and wellbeing after giving birth.
They are usually combined with baby’s first developmental check, but can be done at a separate time if you would like.

Who is this for?
Mothers 6 to 8 weeks after having a baby. If it’s more than 8 weeks after you gave birth and you haven’t had a postnatal check, let us know and we’ll try to book you an appointment as soon as possible!
What to expect
Your appointment will be booked with a GP who will ask you a few questions about your physical health, mental health and wellbeing. These appointments are intended to support you, so feel free to discuss anything else that you would like.
How can I book?
You’ll receive a text or call from us when your postnatal check is due to arrange an appointment. If you would like to book an appointment and we haven't contacted you, just give us a call!
